Mark Cochrane lives in Vancouver, where he teaches literature and creative writing at Kwantlen University College and occasionally reviews books for the Vancouver Sun. He is the author of Boy Am I, which was published by Wolsak & Wynn in 1995 and Change Room, which was published by Talonbooks in 2000. Change Room was short-listed for the inaugural ReLit Award for poetry. Writing for This Magazine, R.M. Vaughan says Change Room is "a smart guide book for the latest sexual revolution." Lorna Crozier says, "(h)is poems sit like small grenades in your hand." Bill Richardson wrote in Quill & Quire: "Cochrane dazzles, and that's for sure".
